The Orange legacy

There comes a time in your life where you meet a friend that just isnt the type of friend you could even begin to discribe. Although I have plenty of friends, that I could never attempt to discribe. There is one I wish to share with all of you, and his name is Orange.

Orange has been a friend of mine since I can remember.. since I'd even started using a pencil. And Through myself, Orange is a living breathing chachter. No matter what anyone says, this nutty, zaney, good hearted friend will always live in my heart, and many others to come.

Some news

Well, today is over and done with, got off work and was hoping to come home to spend a couple of days off with my wife. only to find, She's needed by her grandparents in Big bar, so she will be gone for two weeks in a half weeks. Not only that but she leaves tommarow at 7am. So I have NO idea what i'm gonna do, I mean I'm really glad she finnaly gets to see her grandparents and help them out, but then on the other hand, I'v never been away from her for more than a week. She's going to be missed more than I think anyone relizes. She's pretty upset. too, she wants to go, but then doesnt. i dotn blame her for wanting to get out of the town for a while to see the fmaily she rarley get's to see, I also dont blame her for wanting to stay :-)

I think it's gonna be ok, I mean there's plenty of people who end up having to leave for a short or long period of time, I suppose I just have to get use to it.

Anyways, I take i'll be doing alot of this for the next couple of weeks

Fi-ah on the beach

So today me and my Fiance went to the beach and had a fi-ah. We had more people recruited, but they chickend out, said it was too "cold". But we got that fire started in 5 minutes and were eating "nice hot delicious Smose". They really missed out. We truley had the fire going in 5 minutes. And what's funny is, thesre people walked by and were like "hey nice fire.. geez it's hot over here"

Anyways, here's some pics

Being an Animator

The time in our life where they're must be a time to up and leave, might be hard or easy, but whose to say anything is anything, you know? Can you look into a mirror and still see your reflection, what is this always been I don't know. But what I do know is that this is what we are doing at the minute in time, and within my ability I was set forth a new way to keep trying to stay above the dark, and keep myself in the sky and stay, why? Because I can/ It's worth y time to try and make sure everyone in the world is as happy as I can make them? In my own way, I use my goals and dreams to make the world a better place, simply by loving what It is I love and having passion for striving then new eras of life open and things get better. It's like an open palm, take it or leave it.

What's Inability compared to being able. Just as things start to close in and you feel stuck, you can truly see there's other sides, and you'll be ok. Doing great things, or things doing great? Rethinking the choices and seeing the lines, then crossing over or cut as many as you can see or get to. We live in a mixture of surprises all mixed into one solution, but you'll never find the true answer to your problem without all the ingredient's, and that goes without saying. Take any chance. It's real hard, but we can we really can and we will. What's beyond the sunset, or beyond the starlite night? Could it be possible to even think past all this stuff, can this thing behind our eyes really know this much. We can use this, and we will try and we will succeed to the highest potential. The bars have been lifted towards our goal now we have the strength to see what was available to be seen all along.

Canadian Animation

Does anyone know how cool Canadian animation is? Real simple, yet strangely expressed. I love it.

What Animation I like and why

Ok, so many people are kinda of wondering what type of animation I'm into. I just want to make it clear that I in every way admire anyone involved in animation. There are no limitations to animation, and that's what I love. As everyone else, I have preferences.. I love thick thick lines, that can go wild and not go straight (I find straight chachters borrrinnngg). I love exaggeration, I love cartoons that are overstatements. I love Inbetween work, instead of the constant flapping of the mouths like Japanese animation.

lets start with Shapes

This is the, normal triangle shaped used over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over
again.

Then there's the turnip shape.

Lets compare Shapes

Preston Blairs Uses Round Shapes to create a more cartoon look, you can see there expressions are more.. Well in my own opinion, interesting.

then of cource there's

For me, I want the chatchters really really come to life, I want to see a true imatation of life, I want to see lots of inbetweens, I want to see great use of expressions and I want to be able to read what the chatchter is saying without sound. I just cant do that with Japanese animation. But I will say this, I love the art part of japanese animation in fact... just for all you Japanese fans out there...

I love Hayao Miyazaki, isnt he brilliant, and doesn't he tell the most incredible story's?? And isn't the art great? Including the animation. I wish they had Japanese animation like this on TV.

You really dont have to be scared, or feel nervous about new things and beleve me.. everyone does that. But as soon as things start coming on, and you can feel them.. and your gut tightens, and you worry.. dont. There's no need too, this is your chance to take every chance, and this is your opertunity to take every opertunity by the neck and really show it what for. When things get nervous and feel weird, that's when I think you are truley onto something, and you can ALWAYS look back a,d truley truley undersatnd and see were it came from and where in your life it belongs. And it all makes sense, it all fits. No matter what anyone says, no matter what anything does, no matter where you end up at the end of the day, you will still have your life, and being thankful for that very fact.

I'm truley thankful for this all.

Dont disbeleve faith.

Your friend,
Cory A.g

being An Animation fan for as long as I can remember

It comes to no surprise, where my lvoe of animation came from. Animation has been apart of me for as long as i've bee alive. It comes in very clear that animation is nor childish or just shuned as being just for children.. for still to this day it feels very much alive and very adult to me.

Amazing animation

John Lasseter made this film while he was at Calarts, I think it's safe to say the animation is amazing and very clever.

A sketch from the new series idea called "My dog SpOts!!"

not a lot of sleep but...

Just a very very tiring week/3 months. With being sick, and grandma passing away, and family in hiatus and busy, it's been hard to get anything done; with animation, with drawing or anything. I can even say it's been hard to get motivated, there's just been alot on my mind, with the wedding to save for, and my mind off in space. In just a short period of time before i'll be 20, still stuggeling to move out of my parents house and make bacon for myself, and my fiance. Starting out in life so late is hard.. Especially because I still want to go to school, and I still wish to do something in animation. I dont even care what it is.

An original

It's been 2 years since my production of "The Food Groups Great Space Adventure" film has been haultedand siezed to be in production from a computer shut down. Losing all information, pencil tests, writing, storyboards and unfinished scenes. But looking in a few hidden folders laying around, I found a peice of a pencil test I did for the named "Sad scene" while in production. This and a poster is pretty much all that's left.

Got mail?

Just got my free demo version of Lightwave. And from what i've seen so far it's pretty neat, it's not as complicated as some of the other programs i've had. it's not bad, plus they sent a free dvd of people talking about the program. neat stuff
